Marianne Nelson grew up in Warwickshire, and has lived there for most of her life. She is a proud graduate of the University of Warwick’s Writing Programme, completing her Master’s degree in Writing at the end of 2024. She is a fiction writer, primarily focusing on gothic, horror, and historical fiction. Her short story Family Holiday was published in the anthology ‘On Going Astray’, a sinful collection of poetry, short stories, and non-fiction.

Marianne lives in her home county of Warwickshire with her partner and two cats.
